Proteng THIA is an automatic fire detection and suppression device that acts in milliseconds, heat-activated. It uses no cylinders, sprinklers, or nozzles — it works by heating the body of the device, which triggers a kinetic release of the extinguishing agent (Heptafluoropropane FM-200, in liquid state) contained inside it.

Proteng THIA can be installed on any equipment that needs protection: electronic components, medical equipment, computers, industrial equipment, vehicles, vessels — any material prone to catching fire.

Thermal Activation

Activation occurs at temperatures between 68°C and 75°C. The device activates automatically in the presence of intense heat, before flame ignition, cooling the area to prevent fires.

Activation temperature: 68-75°C (standard), up to 350°C (medium)

Extinguishing agent: Heptafluoropropane (FM-200) — liquid, non-pressurized
