FractoFiber® arrives in Panama and Central America in 2027
Isothermal is a licensed partner and distributor of FractoFiber Technologies (Bratislava, Slovakia) for Panama and Central America. FractoFiber© is a technology that converts non-recyclable plastic waste (RDF) into polymer fractal microfibres, a certified concrete additive — no incineration, no landfill.
What does FractoFiber© do?
- Transforms RDF and mixed plastics into EN 14889-2 certified Class I construction fibre
- Replaces 30% to 40% of traditional aggregate in concrete
- Dosage of 3 to 4 kg of fibre per m³ of concrete
- Low-energy process, no incineration, no smoke
- Every m³ of concrete built with FractoFiber© stores carbon for over 50 years (the “carbon battery”)

Isothermal is bringing this technology to Panama and Central America in 2027, complementing our regional Fiberox (GFRP composite rebar) franchise with a second line of sustainable construction materials made from plastic waste.
